This lot features a vintage Kodak folding camera, complete with its original leather case. The camera, encased in blue and black leather with gold accents, exemplifies early 20th-century photographic technology. The compact design folds neatly into its casing for portability. The camera measures approximately 5 inches by 3 inches by 1 inch when folded. The accompanying leather case, slightly worn from age, measures approximately 5.5 inches by 3.5 inches by 1.5 inches. Camera identification is high, leather material identification is high, and period identification is high.

Kodak, a pioneer in photography, revolutionized the industry with its affordable and easy-to-use cameras. This particular folding camera, likely dating from the 1920s to 1930s, would have been a prized possession for amateur photographers of the time. The folding design made it convenient to carry, promoting the slogan "You press the button, we do the rest." The leather case adds historical value, showcasing the attention to detail and craftsmanship of Kodak accessories.

Condition

The camera shows signs of wear with some scratches and scuffs on the leather casing. The bellows appear intact, and the mechanical components seem functional, though untested. The leather case is worn with some fraying and discoloration but still provides protection for the camera.
