Antique Chinese carved lapis lazuli scholar's table screen having a ornate metal frame mounted on a carved wooden decorative base. The lapis lazuli panel is on one side carved with scholars in a mountainous tree-filled landscape, the other side carved with trees and swirling forms. The upper right corner featuring calligraphy in gold.

Condition
Lapis in very good condition with wear to caligraphy and a chipped upper corner, metal frame in excellent condition. The carved wooden base is in very good condition with a slight separation from the metal frame, structurally secure.
